What to check
Find the maximum-bet clause and any feature-buy restriction in the specific promotion. Do not infer a permission just because the game interface accepts a wager. Where the wording is unclear, obtain clarification before using the feature; a generic support answer without the offer name may be insufficient.
A worked example
Suppose an invented offer caps wagers at €5. A €4 base spin plus a €2 optional component totals €6 if the terms count both. A €4 displayed base stake therefore does not establish compliance. A €100 feature purchase cannot be assumed to count as a €1 spin merely because it is priced at 100 times a €1 base stake.
